Unhappy washing machine

afternoon everyone
just want to pick someones brains....
i have a beko washing machine model number d7120 e
it has stopped near the end of a cycle well it hasnt stopped it is going round slowly and shows one minute remaining ,it wont finish :-( does anyone know what i could be and how i could get it to finish that programme,if i put it to start a new programme it still just shows one minute remaining

..did this problem start in a power cut ..if it did ,close all switches on the machine ,also take the plug from the wall, leave it for 10 minutes..then it should reset itself ..if not then probably ,a memory board programme gone..ps same applies to dishwashers..

i fixed it thanks, it is a 7 kilo washing machine and i had put 2 bedspreads in, they fitted in fine not squashed in but when they was wet they got heavy i think so i pulled one out and pressed start and hey ho

You want to check this out with another wash although it does sound feasible.
If the bedspreads were not overweight then the addition of water would not make much difference as it would be within the limits of the machine, the fact the beadspreads soak up the water should be irrelevent, unless they were not wet enough and causing sufficient drag to slow it down.

Anyhow glad its sorted.

We had that problem a few times with ours, If it happens again try holding the start/pause button in for a few seconds till the clock returns to zero and the water drains out. Leave it for 5 mins then start it again, it should right itself and finish the wash cycle.
