IT Managment/Consulting in turkey?

Hi all,

Been looking at the possibilities of relocaiting to turkey but not sure how in demand my skills are for work. Im an IT manager/consultant and ive also ran network and desktop support for companies in the past. Do any of you think any of the complexes would be a good place to look?

thanks

Hi and welcome to Turkish Living.

Dont really understand what you mean by looking in the complexes?

Theres plenty of International Recruitment Agencies that handle executive posts in Turkey.

Re: IT Managment/Consulting in turkey?

Many UK based Management Consultancies have established offices in Turkey.

You only have to look at the volume of investment thats coming from overseas. Turkish banks have seen unprecedented acquisition activity over recent months. These are areas that you could explore.

As far as the tourism sector is concerned, there would I think be trade magazines that could also offer recruitment sections.

I personally doubt that any of the smaller companies would be able to justify the resource budget for in-house IT Services. Some of the bigger hotel groups are based in Istanbul and Ankara but also operate out of Antalya. It may be worth looking at some of the 5 star hotel groups in the Belek area and contacting their respective head offices.
