Has anyone any idea how long a letter takes to reach Altinkum. Bearing in mind that it is winter here and there are not so many flights going out.

might not ever arrive having sent things to people b4 and not arrived but others have, maybe if you know peeps from the forum that are going out you can ask them to take it as a favour

I sent it registered post. As the last time as you say my parcel didn't arrive.

We sent a parcel over in december and it got there the end of january, we were told in the post office that it would take 4 days.
Some 4 days.

lol i never ger my mail so tell people not to send ,have been tould if you sen mail in a typed brown envolope it will get here still take about 3 week though good luck and registered mail makes no dif here

I don't know about mail to Altinkum but I know from past experience if I send something SPECIAL DELIVERY (some post offices do this to Turkey and others don't) it gets there (although they say 4 days) in about a week definite.

However, other mail I have sent(Royal Mail Ordinary) has sometimes taken 2 weeks or longer.
