Free bus to Kipa Soke?

Does anyone know if there is a free bus from Soke town to the new Kipa and if so does it go from the bus depot?

The good lady and a friend intend to get the dolmus from Akbuk, which of course goes to the Soke bus depot.

Re: Free bus to Kipa Soke?

I have been told there is but don't know where from. It will probably be from bus station but I am sure someone else will tell you. I find the buses are quite well organised here and easy to use x

Re: Free bus to Kipa Soke?

I would doubt it as the local dolmus association would be up in arms.

Got a dolmus back from there recently and got off at the main Migros in town.
Not sure if it went onto the bus station.

I know the Didim bus picks up at Migros (by the car park), but not sure about the Akbuk one. I guess it would as well.

Does the Didim-Aydin bus drop off at Kipas?

Well they seem to drop off/pick up everywhere else, even on the motorway someone once flagged us down and got on! He had to slam on the brakes when he saw her. Crazy! x

Re: Free bus to Kipa Soke?

I have also heard there is a free bus from Soke staion. When I was in Kusadasi recently, I saw a Kippa bus doing the rounds.

Re: Free bus to Kipa Soke?

Very interesting.

I thought there was a topic some while back that a local hotel in Didim had to stop it's free shuttle service as there were complaints from the dolmus organisation.

Maybe that differs from place to place.

Does Carrefour in Didim still run it's free shuttle service? I think it used to be 3 times a day (10:30, 12:30, 16:30). Not sure about Migros in Didim.

Re: Free bus to Kipa Soke?

When Kipa at Soke opened, the free bus was banned from entering the bus station. It is best to take the Aydin bus as that will drop off at Kipa and then take the free bus back into Soke.

That does sound like a sensible idea to me. I guess they could look out for a brightly painted Kipa bus close to the bus depot and hop on the Aydin bus if they don't see the Kipa.

As you said, coming back should br no problem.

Thumbs up Re: Free bus to Kipa Soke?

The free bus picks up from the opposite side of the car park(beside the main road out of Soke) to Kipa and is very distinguishable.
