Buying baby equipment in the Bodrum area?

We are headed out to Bodrum next Saturday with our 2 small children (a 2 year old and a 7 month old) and I was wondering if anybody knows if there is a baby superstore or other baby equipment shop in the Bodrum area that I can buy stuff for the villa, rather than carting out a travel cot, stairgate, high chair, steriliser etc? It would be handier to buy them out there and leave them there.

Any info would be much appreciated!

lisa, we were able to buy a travel cot in Metro in Alanya and I think it cost 95ytl but they were available in quite a few furniture shops as well. Don't know if its the same in Bodrum though. We just brought steriliser tablets with us and used a large plastic container. It did the same job.

thanks Graeme,
my little fella hates the taste of milton sterliser tabs, he refuses to drink from bottles that have been sterlised that way! I might just boil them up in a saucepan for 10 mins if the worst comes to the worst.

There is a Toys R Us (Turkish style) store near Soke - I managed to get a travel cot and high chair there for my daughter. They also do car seats, push chairs as well. Could not find anywhere that did a steriliser tho so ended up begging for visitors to bring one out to me!
Hope that is of some help!

Thanks Lokum, the travel cot, high chair & stair gate are the must haves... a baby bath & sterlisers would be handy too but I can manage without them if need be! We are bringing our double stroller so that's not an issue and we are renting car seats with the car.

Where is SOKE? And do you remember the name of the shop?

Lisa. Soke is a good hour and a half from Bodrum. Before anything, I would try Kipa (Turkish Tesco)/ Kosh tas (B & Q) or Metro which are all in Bodrum. I'm sure between the three, you could probably get what you need.
If not, I would ask if there is a Toys R Us closer to you.

Soke is between Altinkum & Kusadasi, there are some factory shops just off the main road, about four sets. The shop is actually called "Toys R us" but I don't know if its anything to do with our shops of the same name. It is in the same row of shops as a large Migros. Is that any help?
