YTL and TL
I was wondering what the difference is in Turkish Lire as I keep seeing YTL.

Ivy TL (Turkish lira) refers to the old notes coins etc.. ytl is the new, Therefore, if you had 20mil note you now have a 20ytl note. Next year the Y (as in YTL) will be dropped so you will be back to 20tl. I hope this helps.
