how to sell an apartment in bodrum area

i would like some advice please on how to go about selling an apartment in the bodrum area after its construction has been finished .
the developer says they would resell it for me for 10% or i could go through a local agent which they say would cost 15% ! these charges seem very high to me .
does this sound right ? what would be the best option for selling without incurring these extremely high charges ?
thanks

Sound like they are trying to charge you the developers percentages, do you have your Tapu and if so then go to any agent and tell them you will pay the 3% this is then classed as a resale. there are otherways I am sure someone will be along to offer more advice.

An agent should charge you 3% of the property value to resell it. You could try advertising it on forums like this one :-)

Yes, you should only have to pay 3% of the selling price to the agent. The only other cost is if you decide to leave power of attorney to someone in Bodrum to complete the sale on your behalf. Means you don't have to be here to sign the apartment over.

Most good agents will only charge 3%.
Barter with them, turn on your charm and they may be willing to lower their fees.

The cheapest way to sell, is for you to advertise and find a buyer yourself.
or alternatively find an easy going, soft touch agent like me to advertise it for free. LOL

Best of Luck

Hi Kym,
I'm sorry! I thought you'd changed your mind and decided to stay put.

You know I'd do anything for a beautiful lady.
