Locked out (keys)

Family in apartment down stairs, locked themselves out and had to break UPVC toilet window to get in. They were on ground floor.
Just wondering how to overcome this if it happens. Has anyone any suggestions. Someone like a neighbour but they seem to be Turkish nearby and they may not speak English. I know agent usually keeps a set, but its not as if they can be hidden.

Oh, a reply, sorry - I presume it's the same as here, leave a set with a neighbour or a friend, some people will probably have a hidey place. Has your agent kept a set? I wonder why?

Look for a management agent who will keep your keys coded & safe.

Trevor: It's just as well I know you. I don't think you would dare say that to anyone else on here! Also I don't think anyone on here would be impressed. TRY IT ON OTHER PEOPLE.

Dare say we work at same place; people would understand if they knew where!

Trevor: You've really missed me... I've got a life now.
That's for me to know and you to find out where I have been.

Hi Lynda - by management agent do you mean where the agent does a security check each month/week whatever when you are not there? That would explain why agents have sets of keys to your property, I forgot about that cos the first property we bought has a technician who acts as security during the winter cos he lives on site. Are there management agents who only deal with managing as opposed to aftercare from your estate agent?

Hi Duke, you nosey bugger! Here's the full sp - It took me a while to work out that I know Angela well, she certainly hoodwinked me, I normally check peoples profiles as I am nosey ( but not as nosey as gail) I was howling with laughter when I discovered that Ivy was Angela who works at the same place as me and my hubby - the funniest thing was that when Angela was off on a tangent my hubby Jai who worked with her was always saying 'that sounds like something Angela would say'. We even spent a lot of time together with her and our friend Glynis in Altinkum last September and had some good nights out so I'm a little upset at her posts (and confused) Been getting a bit of stick on the forum lately anyway - guess it must be my turn..........
