Re: Exchange Rates
Err... where is the "Currency centre" then??
Would I get a better rate using my Nationwide VISA Card(no commission) at Bodrum Airport ATM or... should I bring a wad of stirling notes? (£1000)
Where is best rate to change it? (i dont mind illicit by the way)

Re: Exchange Rates
Not a good idea to bring a wad of sterling notes. Use your Nationwide card in an ATM. Garanti bank are offering 2.34 today.

Hi Gren,
It's a Nationwide VISA Debit card you need, not a credit card. Nationwide don't charge any handling fees. It's well worth opening an account with them for this service alone.

Re: Exchange Rates
Hi tjd. Thanks - I know - i have had a Flex account for ages. Brilliant innit!
I just dont know which is best:
1) Withdraw Nationwide YTL at ATM at airport.
2) bring £1000 (cash) then pay into Turkish bank - then do exchange online.
3) exchange £1000 (cash) somewhere else
??
