Banks interest rates...
Hi
just like to know what banks are giving the best rates at the moment,and how much do you have to put in to the accounts to get the best rates
Ive e-mailed a few banks and they all offer different rates

Depends what amount of money you are going to put in account if leaving in sterling think its about 4% lira account Garanti is about 18% HSBS is 18.5% you can online and see
sorry forgot to say less tax Garanti 15.3% HSBC 15.8% this is what we were told last week

thanks for that, i have been told up to £44k its 18.5 % ,thats with Fortis Bank,above that will do a better rate,and a 1 year bond 20%, Im sure you could get a better rate if you tried,all depends on how much you can put in.

Please if you find a bank that will give 20% let me know!!! I have had a govermont bond for 5 years started off at 38%, and I dont get 20% now
My other monthly accounts pay 16.5% Deniz and 18.5% with HSBC

this is what i have so far,hope it helps? The guy is with Fortis Bank in Fethiye

1 Day-26 Days 17%
27 -75 days 18%
76-135 days 18.5 %
77-136 days 18.75%
137-225 days 19%
226-300 days 19.25%
301 -365 days 19.75%
If you have more then £44,000 then you will get a better rate,its the same for a bond. At the moment its 20% for a 1 year bond

Just seen that granti Bank are doing a bond for 1 year @ 23%
and Time accounts from 19%,must have at least £10,000 in the account
