Hi Eric, you wont gain anything from changing your lira to dollars or sterling or vice versa..the value will be the same.....unless of course you were wheeling and dealing in currencies..?

Eric, just keep your dollars etc and buy a small amount of Turkish Lira in your home country before you arrive. Change your money here in a Bank and you will get a good deal. Not in the change shops, that is a no no.
