Opening a bank account without Tapu

I have to open a bank account on my next visit (next week)to Altinkum I am considering the new one that has just opened, but how do I go about dong this without the tapu?

All I have for now is a plot number floor number and apartment number. I have been told I can still open an account but not told how.

Oh, and what is the name of the new bank?

Thanks

Adam

All you need are your passports. We have 3 accounts with IS bank. One in euros, sterling and TL.

You can give your estate agent's address for now and change it later if needed.

I too have given up on ISBANK, their english support over the phone was good, but most of the reason i needed help was due to the fact their site was only in Turkish.

I will be and AKBANK Convert when I am out there next

Hi Adamd, you just need passport and Tax number, which you can get from the office on Ataturk, across the road from Halkbank and approx 50 yards up in opposite direction from Altinkum. It's between Gima and Migros. I forgot you'll also need 2 photocopies of your passport(photo page).
You can use your UK address.

Re: Opening a bank account without Tapu.

I opened an account with Akbank when i was over in June. I opened a Sterling and Lira account. All I needed is my passport. As you go in the door there is a machine on your left. Take a ticket from there and wait for your number to come up on the screen behind the counter.
