Re: Turkish Lira Rates

Well.................. Looking at the chart, and tkx for the link to that it looks like you've got a classic 3rd head & shoulders pattern which would mean, but only on the charts if you believe them, that we're headed to 2,30 before we head anywhere else...................

But then that's charts for you and I've seen many a chartist die at the stake than make a fortune.............

Strictly speaking, and from a logical standpoint, the Turkish Lira would normally lose value in Winter (lack of demand) and strengthen in the Summer due to an increase in demand, a bit like the Italian Lira used to do in Summer and the Austrian Schilling used to do in Winter.......... To that extent, the YTL defies a good bit of logic.
Nevertheless I heard today that the Turkish economy is set to recover on a par with those in Russia, Brazil, and India........... Again, it's a chart thing, this time, apparently, tkx to Fibonacci a 15 Century Italian Mathematician. So keep your fingers crossed that all may be better for the exchange rate from the GBP/YTL point of view altho' I suspect you can kiss the previous high YTL interest rates a fond farewell......................

0,00887 to the thousands would buy a crate!-i watch my currencies on xe.com subtract 7 kur for their commision(they will move reasonable amounts for you)-you have to ring a canadian number to get a quote and can be paid via an internet account in the uk to a uk bank account they have

Re: Turkish Lira Rates

changing 10,000 would only give me 8.87 kurus - 7 commission = 1.87 kurus

.......I will happily send you this for you to purchase me a crate of Efes. I may even order more if I could rely on a volume discount.
