Ikametgah

Hello

I do not know where should I ask my question. A bank wants me an ikametgah belgesi.
I have a house rent contract notarized(noter onayi)
I also have resident permit card.
Could I go to nufus dairesi without landlord in order to get a paper to prove my address. Did anybody (foreigner) do this before?
Also, The bills are not in my name and actually even in the owner's name. They are in complex(site) name. So I think it does not work for me
What should I bring?

Thanks

You do not say what transaction you want to do with the bank; if you have your Residence Permit and Passport, I canīt see what else they will need. You should be registered with the local Muhtar as being resident in the area.

Re: Ikametgah

I want to open an account
The bank wants fatura or ikametgah
Today I went to nufus and fortunately they did what I want! They submit my address in the system and gave me a paper that proves I stay in this address
The bank wanted it

Re: Ikametgah

The Ikamatgah is your residency permit. The sheet given by the nufus office will prove your registered address and is only valid for 2 years or as long as your residency permit is valid. When your residency is expired they will not give you a new one, so get another just before your residency expires as it is now one of the required documents for a new residency permit.

Re: Ikametgah

Check the bottom of the letter from your Nufus office,i believe it's written there that it's only valid for 30 days,so you'll need another for your next RP renewal anyway.

I forgot to look
The bank toon it
But you are right!
Does nufus give another one?
The contract is in two names ! I mean two person. Do they give one for me and one for my wife.
They did not stamp it! They said just signature is enough!
You can check in website!
