In Mugla 32 geothermal power plants have been past.
Other places out for tender are Datca, Bodrum, Dalyan, Marmaris, Bafa, Turkbuku. Even the spawning grounds of the cabretta turtles in Dalyan.

Some years back there was a petition knocking about in Akbuk over the destroying of woodland in the area for new builds. I know there were British involved in the petition.
My Turkish neighbour pointed out to me that, some involved in the petition live in villas and apartments that woodlands were cleared to build them their own properties on.

The auctions tenders will be held on October 20/26 sites 3 year exploration license and a 30 year operating license will be given. The largest for tender is 4992.56 hectares.
