Child's First UK Passport

I'm wondering if anyone can help me here - I'm still confused even after going through all the UK gov info on this.

My daughter was born here - Turkish mum, British dad. I've applied for her first UK passport but am uncertain if I have all the required docs and which need to be translated. If anyone has done this before, could you share what I need to send to the app goes through without issue?

I have the app form completed, countersigned, photos countersigned (luckily her paediatrician has a UK passport), so that's one thing done.

I understand I don't need to send marriage docs, but I do have:

My birth certificate - no issues there
Formul A of both my wife and daughter - Formul A seems to be the nearest thing to a birth certificate here, and I got those without issue from Nufus Idaresi. However, they are in French, German and Turkish - should these be translated?
The UK gov keeps talking about photo ID of my daughter, but as far as I can see there aren't any documents like that in Turkey for such a young one.
Not sure whether they need a copy of my residence permit either.

So, if you have ever done this, please enlighten me as to what supporting documents you sent, whether they were translated, and anything I am missing from the above

Cheers

Neil

Re: Child's First UK Passport

Hi Guys,

I am going through the same process now. Any advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

I am confused as to whether I need to get the formül a translated. On the back of the Formül a certificate there is a numered translation key which includes english- is this enough?

Also, what did you send to prove your address. Are utility bills acceptable? If so, do they need to be translated?

One more thing? Do I need to send my wife's birth certificate, even though she is not a british citizen.

Oh and how about a photo ID? She's only a few months old so I don't have anything like that right now. Is it a must?

Thanks so much for your help.

Re: Child's First UK Passport

As well as remember

Formul A doesn't need translation
Proof of address you can get from nufus (nufus kayit ornegi)
No birth certificate needed I believe, but your wife's nufus kayit ornegi translated by notary
I think we managed without photo ID

Hope others will verify that.

If something is incomplete, FCO get back to you anyway with clarification. I had something missing / incorrect - think I forgot to send my own birth certificate - but you have time to fix things if something missing

Best of luck
