Does The Tuzla Golf Course Exist????
HAVING CONTRIBUTED TO ANOTHER THREAD OVE THE LAST FEW DAYS I AM CURRIOUS TO FIND OUT IF THE GOLF COURSE AT TUZLA ACTUALLY EXISTS YET? OR IF WORKS HAVE STARTED?
I BELIEVE MANY PEOPLE HAVE BOUGHT ON THE BACK OF THE PROMISE OF A GOLF COURSE BEING BUILT THERE (WE NEARLLY DID OVER 2 YEARS AGO).
WE WERE EVEN TOLD DIGGERS PARKED AT THE SIDE OF THE ROAD WERE WORKING ON THE GOLF COURSE.
I HAE JUST BEEN ON VITA PARK WEB SITE http://www.vitaparkgolfresort.com/index.html
WHERE IT SAYS THE GOLF COURSE WILL BE FINNISHED BY END OF 2006.
HAVING READ ANOTHER THREAD ON HERE OF SOMEONE WHO HAS BOUGHT THERE AND HAVING JUST COME BACK TO THE UK SAYING THERE DON'T APPEAR TO BE A GOLF COURSE I AM INTREAGED TO KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON?

Tony and Mary mentioned that they have just come back and saw no
sign of the Golf Course. If their first hand is not to be believed then you
will have to go in person. I'm not being flipant but we smelled a rat especially
after the Times report ages back and so pulled out of a deal with MRI.

The closest to a golf course in Tuzla is a large plot of earth with a few redundant diggers on it. I am going suggest that the put a sign up + a bus to transport everyone wish to play golf to the supper large 5 hole pitch and put course in Ortakant. LOL........
The course will probably be completed by 2016 maybe MRI made a typo on there website................

Hi yes there is a golf course which should be open for the spring the first phase is completed and they are starting on the second phase. One big problem it will not be open to the general public. Members only membership the other courses not sure as yet YES I HAVE SEEN IT , AND ONLY THE RICH WILL BE ABLE TO AFFORD THE MEMBERSHIP

Where is it then - Live in Bodrum and been out to Tuzla many times to attempt to find it. Even been on the hills all around and looked down on area with Bino's and can't see anything that looks like a golf course. looks just flat land with no features that you would expect.

Have seen it ,my husband is is a keen golfer and he helped to design a golf course in England said it is bloody useless too flat not enough trees. And when they are asking 25000Eur membership it is a dam joke

We have also seen the golf course - or at least that they are working on a golf course. Agree with Denise that the membership fee is far too high - but the fees in the Ortakent club are also ridiculous for what's on offer there. I posted them on the previous thread.

Hi, as you know are villa is in Tuzla over looking the lake and the proposed golf course in the distance. As we said no golf course there, so if anyone can see one, we would be intrigued to know where, we think we have 20 20 vision but could be wrong, as sometimes it gets blurred by the wine and Tony by the raki.I suppose this debate will just go on and on untill either it is built or they drop the marketing on it.

Hi all,
Living here in Bodrum and can also confirm that I have indeed seen the golf course, you can access the road by turning off the Milas road onto the road that runs alongside the lake to the Bogazici village, take the first left on there and you will reach the new clubhouse building which was constructed this winter. There is grass there, the lakes are full and the the bunkers are ready.
I don't see why so many people are claiming that there is no golf course.....maybe they are trying to sell property in other areas of Bodrum and don't want people to be interested in Tuzla area??? I have seen this with my own eyes although know nothing of membership fees or opening times!
