Yalikavak is primarily touristic dependent these days however, it still has a thriving community in the winter albeit Turk. The fishing boats still go out daily but nothing really goes on around the town till the weekend.

During the week its just the usual coffee houses and tea bars full of old men playing Tavla and Okey.

Bodrum - Never shuts and you will always find something to do there to keep you amused.

Bodrum is ideally situated that you can easily spend a few days touring around other areas like Fethiye and Marmaris so theres always something to do.

Merv!
