If all goes well my partner and I should be buying a villa on the Gumsan? 2 site in Gumusluk. We're flying out Sat 29th Oct, are there any forum members located on that site?. Any info would be most appreciated.

Steve and Sheila I think there are some more members on that site. I have a place in Turgutreis so not too far away but I'm not there next week, I wish I was. You must be catching the very last charter flight out, who is you are flying with? Good luck for next week and maybe in the future we will get the chance to meet up.

Gail, Yes its the last flight in I think. Its with Thomas Cook and the estate agent is "putting us up" in one of their villas in Torba.

Just a progress report ? After finding out from some of you last week, we flew to Bodrum full of woe.
The estate agent was very helpful in putting us up in their villas but the seller of the villa in Gumusluk wanted "all" the money straight away and would'nt wait until we found out about the buying rights etc
We obviously backed out from this situation and spent all last week looking at other properties, the result being another villa in Gumusluk but a new build, and we are going out "again" in 2 weeks to buy. We were told that we can buy through a lawyer who can hold your Tapu in a Bond until the new law is sorted?

Hi Ukizook.Yes till the law is sorted out then leave your lawyer to sort the bond.
I am in a building partnership in Gundogan with my best friend who is an architect.

We have let our buyers furnish their homes and have bonds with their lawyers to protect the buyers rights.
Both sides are happy with these arrangements.
