Yes.have to agree Vona is definitely one of the best. It is run by Levret who used to work in Four Seasons. Lovely guy. Looking forward to paying them a visit next month.

Re: Best Bars and Restaurants in Bodrum
Many lovely restaurants in Gundogan but for good inexpensive Turkish food go to Pamukale 1 in the main village (next to Kiss Bar another good place)or Pamukale 2 next to Gundogan bus station.Do a good value breakfast too.
Boncuk bar on the beach is good place to chill !

I agree with lynne ( not had the breakfast tho)

Plenty of choice and several doing Xmas dinners this year. Bayram starts at New Year so should be pretty lively all over.
Clothing - the weather is still holding out but there's a definite chill in the air. Also keep in mind that you'll probably need a couple of jumpers for the day and evenings - heating in some restaurants can leave a little to be desired

Re: Best Bars and Restaurants in Bodrum
Hi bodrumchic, thanks for that, also do you know which day of the week the hovercraft goes to Kos? I wanted to get some ciggies, I thought that the duty was paid in Bodrum, therefore they weren't duty free, but found out otherwise at the airport at B'ham!!! I was worried when the customs guy put his rubber gloves on, but was lucky because he did let me keep them, so my understanding is that you have to go to Kos to exceed the 200 limit, do you know if that's right?
Thanks ever so, also which bit of beautiful Turkey are you in?
Thanks
Sarah
