Re: In Gumbet on Monday
Lots of furniture shops on the road near Oasis shopping centre. Also try Metro and Koc Tas further out this road. Happy shopping.

Re: In Gumbet on Monday
HI Mark, we did our furniture shopping when we were out at easter and got lovely things from Bellona. Also all our electrical bits from Arcelik, tv, larder fridge, washing machine, microwave, satelite system, and cooker. very good prices and 10% discount for cash. Both the above shops had an english speaking person and they were very helpful and free delivery to Gumusluk.
Got wooden garden furniture from Metro, take your passport and get a day pass they also deliver which is arranged at checkout. They charge but its a fair price.
weathers great too now........we went out to stay in the house for 2 weeks and just returned on tuesday, also your getting a great exchange rate over there now.
Gumbet was looking nice too with all the beach restaurants all newly painted and furnished.
Have fun and hope the apartment is coming along nicely for you both.

Each to their own - personally I wouldn't call Kusudasi "one of the most beautiful resorts in Turkey" - but that's just my opinion.
