Hi Susan

Are you talking about a site managed by a committee made up of owners or a kooperative which is run by a committee elected by the Kooperative members.

Don't believe for a second they'd have to be in English. This is Turkey so why would they be published in English?

Proportion of members - don't know what the rules say.

Proxy - yes this is possible if you can't attend in person. (at least on our site)

AGM - held by e-mail - don't know how legal that would be - but a majority of members discussed the points and then voted by e-mail it might be legal after all.

All of the above is my opinion.

Susan B.

You can get proxi votes but they have to be in writing and signed.
You can notify by Email but I can not see how you can conduct a meeting by email unless perhaps by a vidio link but how would you get the minutes signed and noterised also there would be the problem of interpretation we have an Interpreter present at our meetings.

I'm sure I read somewhere that they do have to be held in Turkey, but that could have referred to a kooperative rather than a sitesi.

Not much good really am I?

Re: Complex/Sitesi Rules

Meetings have to be held in Turkey and all issues are discussed and voted on at the meeting itself. Committees are voted in each year at the AGM. So, if you give your proxy vote to somebody attending the meeting you need to let them know beforehand how you wish them to vote on your behalf.
