Question selling house

I have just sold my house in Bodrum (the buyers military search is not through yet) but I have a deposit from them.
I have been advised by my emlak that the new transfer tax fee is 4% not 3.3% since the beginning of last week. Can anyone advise me if this is right and any new price increases I might have to pay. any advice would be very welcome thanks.

Re: selling house

Title deed -- property transfer tax

Finally, the tax on title deed fees increased from 16.5 per TL 1,000 to 20 per TL 1,000 so that for real estate worth TL 300,000, the title deed fees will be TL 6,000 unlike the previous title deed fee of TL 4.950.

Update on government levies and waiting period

yes, it is now 4%. usually paid by the buyer, unless you feel generous and come to an agreement.

Cool Re: selling house

Thank you all for advice. I do trust the emlak we bought and sold our last house through him and everythink went well.
I just did not know about the increase and surprised that it is usually the buyer who pays as we have always seen it reflected as both sharing costs.

many thanks for info
