From what I have been told over here, the next 3 months will be a "reflective period!!" this will be for 2 reasons 1stly it will alow the massive backlog of tapus to be processed and 2ndly will allow the military to send the local TAPU office details of the areas covered by that region that would be rejected due to military reasons.

Can't wait for further updates as we started the process in Oct 2004 and we still don't have Military Clearance due to the solicitor not processing the paperwork and actually providing us with paperwork from the Tapu Office which was fraudulent. Waiting with bated breath.

Just received message from our solicitor
'We have the new law now and nothing is negative for you, next week Monday, land registry office if beginning to give deeds. I will inform you about the situation, wait a little longer'

Went with a builder to check on the Tapu situ this morning. his clients purchased end March 2005 he was told to expect their Tapu sometime in the next week or so or 6 weeks at the latest, he was enquiring because he is waiting for his money.

This was in Fethiye.

I already got 4 title deeds from Title deeds office and gave back around 25 applications. I expect them to be ready in 3 weeks hopefully. This mean, someone who bought like 2 weeks ago, will get his title deed in 5 week. Hopefully 3 months later, process will get faster and you will have it in 1 day (hopefully )

Hi Everyone, Purchased My Property In June 05, And Received My Tapu Last Friday. In Altinkum The Tapu's Seem To Be Coming Out Now, But For Properties After The 27 July There Is A Hold Up, But It Depends Just How They Are Dealing With Them At The Tapu Office. Good Luck To Everyone.
