I heard that thıs was goıng to happen some time ago but dıdnt put to much faith in it at the time even though the source was high up the feed chain. But if it does happen its good news all the same.

Didn't realise nobody was aware of this... also heard it some time ago, but like anything in Turkey until it actually happens...

Re: Tapu News Flash!!
I had also known of this for a while but as the news was and still is rather sketchy decided not to post the information until confirmations are through.
Although the The minister only passed and enacted the law on 7th January, (as we confirmed on TLF on 8th January) confirming the new status etc, the military then decided that they were not happy with this matter being taken from their jurisdiction, Therefore, there is still a substantial amount of admin to clarify, that being the military would still oversee the matter.
My understanding is that each registration office will have a link to a website (under the control of Ankara) that the Tapu registrations will still have to go through.
I had hoped that the many estate agent members on the forum would have been able to confirm this, therefore, I decided to post this information now to receive feed back.
Unfortunately, the Turkish Gazzette is in Turkish and the information was there. and apparently when this is resolved (which I have been informed could be in the next couple of weeks) Tapu's will be released.
If any member will more knowledge or information of the Registrations process has the answer please could they post.
But having received the same information from our office in Altinkum as what practicgibi has posted, it could well have gone through yesterday, fingers crossed.
