Question Various Questions on Buying to Rent

First......glad to have found this forum, lots of interesting info.
You don´t get if you don´t ask..... so her goes.
Like most of you no doubt, we all get inspired by programmes with Amanda Lamb in them (yes she does have a nice smile).
Will be needing to supplement my state pension soon, so am coming over shortly (UK is so expensive).
Now the questions.
Buy to Let........which area from Cesme to Fethiye is best for this, length of rental season, etc.
As the Brits are pushing up the prices in the resorts is it best to buy away from them.
Have not seen any buying guides recommending a survey, presume you all use a local builder to give properties the once over.
Estate agents........good list on this site, but the line has to be drawn somewhere........what is the golden qualification (sign or symbol) for a top notch agent.
Lastly, how much haggling is normal over the price daft as it may sound.

Sorry about the questions but its always nice to pick other peoples brains who are in the know.

its been some time since you posted your enquiry. Did you get any useful advice (from any source)?

did you end up buying to let?

Recent comments elswhere on the forum suggest the letting market is really a bit of a myth that is fuelled by estate agents keen to persuade people to buy. The reality seems to be that rates are lower than expected and bookings more scarce

comments from your experience would be welcome

One agent i spoke to said he would
except £100,000 for 2 apartments
instead of the asking price of £108,000.

Then i still turned it down.
That was in Avsaller last Oct.
