Money Transfer to Turkey
Hi
I am about to pay the final sum on our house purchase so am looking for the best deal on FX - I have tried the companies that advertise elswhere on the forum and have already saved around £1,000 compared to the first quote I had (tip there for others is to shop around)
Anyone had any good experiences or can recommend a company offering the best deals?
many thanks
Thurstan

Bryan
I suppose i'm old fashioned - I have £ in UK and want to pay in Euro in Turkey so it seems easier to ask the bank or an FX to do it rather than saunter into the airport and ask Thos Cook or whoever to change a large wad of fivers
but I agree with you that when buying furniture or white goods then cash is king

Re: Money Transfer to Turkey
I used Bodrum Kapital www.BodrumKapital.com and they bettered my bank rate which itself was far better than most of the specialist fx transfer agents etc

Re: Money Transfer to Turkey
We used Nat West when we transferred a large sum Sandra.I think it cost about £18 for a two day transfer.
Make sure the receiving bank doesn't charge you for receiving the money as several Turkish banks do this.
