I dont know what it is about Turkey but these are our thoughts after our first visit.
We bought at Xmas largely for capital growth as our interest was so low in the UK and knew nothing about the country.
Our visit has totally changed our perspective on our purchase.
We loved the apartment ,the area, the weather and the people so much that we now put profit and selling and renting way down the list of priorities.
Our first priority now is blow renting it,we want to use it ourselves and stay there as much as possible.We no longer wish to let it to others as its ours and we are proud of it!!
Turkey is a lovely fascinating country with brilliant people and superb weather so how much profit we make and rental income doesnt enter the equation.
As with our own property in the UK it doesnt have to appreciate year in year out .
We love it and its ours!!!
We think some of these articles are number crunching and statistics that dont allow for peoples feeling about being there in a place they can do as they please in.
