Re: tuzla

to me it sounds expensive, its on the bodrum peninsula not quite (pricer are higher) and may well be in postion high up in the mountain as a lot of the builds have to be due to the nature of the coastline but I have never been there myself, from what i read its a small fishing village, so maybe a taxi or dolmus into Bodrum for the nightlife

did a search and there is a new build called flamingo, it has everything on the site, so maybe thats why the price is high, and I would say night life would be hard to find

Re: tuzla

Depends a lot on what you are buying I can get you two for that in Antalya or I can sell you a 3 bed zero to the beach for 700,000 Euros (yes thats right) but it depends what facilities etc you are getting. So to know whats the right price you will have to expand or give us a web link then people will be better able to advise you.

Dear Wilsie--welcome to TLF
Yes a think that 70 k is far to much for an offplan property in Tuzla --you can buy a house to renovate there for 16 - 20 K or a ready one for 40 k
There is much talk by emlaks of the new proposed golf course & that area is now being called golf country - but as yet there is NO planning permission
Flamingo park is also an offplan developement & also Lakeside park - but neither has been started
Tuzla hasnt much to offer - nice qaint village but thats about all
most of the houses are on steep hills & NO nightlife
Journey to Bodrum approx 25 minutes - alot of taxi fare !!
I hope you have made the right decision about your investment
Good luck
Sue

It's ok don't get excited everyone, sounds to me like someone wanted to get the word out on 'flamingo park' development, probabley involved with the project in some way.

Hi Folks Thanks for all your comments, going out for a look in a couple of weeks .the price does seem high compared to what u can get elsewhere but when finished the flamingo country club sure does look like a nice place to invest ie everything on site that u need, in the end im'e not going to be living there just to use for holidays and to let out when not in use. again thanks for all your comments anymore would be welcome kind regards wilsie.

Re: tuzla

I went to Tuzla few weeks ago to have a look at the area and I must say, I found the place to be dead, there were couple of little restaurants and corner shops type of outlets.

Most of the area seems to be pretty high up, some steep roads there too, and lot of what look like abandoned sites.

I found the place to be very uninspiring, and didn't hang around too long. I don't know if its the same place wilsie is asking about, but it's near the Bodrum airport and you drive through what looks like a lake on a tiny road.

Hope that help, or maybe not.....
