I couldn't see this as a topic, so just in case anyone is not aware there is a new Shine Restaurant opening in Calis at the Forum. The Shine already has an excellent reputation in Hisaronu and this is another branch and is not a different restaurant using the same name.

I believe the official opening is 3rd April and I believe it will be welcomed by quite a lot of people, if not all.

I attended the original opening of The Forum bar last year and The Shine Restaurant catered for the evening and the food was fabulous. I think there will be a delivery service as well, so keep your eyes open for the new fancy artwork on The Forum Bar in Calis.

The new restaurant (within The Forum) is now open and we went to the opening evening on Monday. The food is authentic and beautiful, worth a visit if you are that way inclined.

We have been packed out every night and Yes!! have been taking orders for take aways but at the moment you have to come and get them after you have called in with your order.
I have beaten Mushtaq to it but I am trying to get him to do one in Altinkum. keep nagging him and he will get off his bum eventually.

Packed every night and reservations coming in thick and fast. Best thing I have ever done but I take no credit for the food, that goes to Hasan who has trained in Indian and Bradford lol I take credit for getting him in Calis.

there s a new real indian restaurant opening soon in calis opposite the airies hotel. using tandoori clay ovens the owner had a very succesfull indian restaurant in Hisaranu for some 13 years. will let you what the food is like when ive been to the opening night due in about 3 to 4 weeks

Why not give the restaurant its own title then when you review it as it may pale in the shadow of The Shine. I am sure it will be well received and as The Shine has set the high standard it should benefit everyone.

I hope it isn't one of those eat "everything you want for 2ytl" as there have recently been reports of alleged food poisoning in Hisaronu from one of those (Chinese though) and that has made me very wary. They can be iffy anywhere though.

Look forward to the review as I like a nice curry.

no definetly not one of those eat for 2ytl. the owner osman had a very succesfull and well known (but ive forgotten the name of it must be old age) proper indian restaurant in hisaronu for over 13 years. he uses indian ir bangladeshi chefs has at least three tandoori clay ovens impoted from the uk an even has spices etc and popodoms imported. one of his ovens is usually placed at the front so people can see he is the pucker job. hes invited me to its opening so that i can taste before i recommend. as he said try my food first before you tell everyone. so of course i will gladly pass on my comments after ive been for a meal. cant wait as i love really good genuine indian food.
