Aegean Flights charges for name changes
Hi Everyone
I'm Tania from Aegean Flights. Been meaning to join up to keep you all in the loop for ages, its just been a bit crazy as you can imagine.
Just to let you all know that the charges for changing a name have changed and where you were paying only £20 per name change, you will now have to pay the difference in price as well as £20per person.
Didn't want anyone to get upset when you call to change a name and you get quoted more than the £20.
If this works out ok, I'll post any new developments regarding Aegean Flights as soon as I know them.
Hope you're all well and thank you for your custom and patience with all the changes and cancellations to flights.

Welcome to the forums, here for all to enjoy!
Thats a shame about the difference in price for name changes. My son and mate have decided they may not come with us in August, so there £76 flight now becomes £476..yikes...i just checked the price on the site

It also means that there will be no advantage now in selling on flights doesn't it? Am I understanding correctly that if for example I bought one of Lorraine's flights I would pay the same as if I had booked it on the site? Assuming Lorraine is hoping to get her £76 back.
Even if you took less Lorraine there would be £20 plus the difference in flight cost.
I am confusing myself now, but the long awaited cheap flights from Agean appear to have fizzled out very quickly judging by this year's prices.

Surely this should only affect people booking from today onwards, if you booked months ago and ticked the terms and conditions which at the time stated name change was only 20 pounds then surely legally that is all they are allowed to charge!

I believe you dealt with the confussion of my credit card beind debited twice for my flights to the U>K> on Monday.
Nice to see you on here Im sure you will be a great help to everybody as i must say you were very helpfull and definatly on the ball when I had to e mail you in the week.
