Calis Aqua Park
Further to my query / post regarding the Ovacik water park, and as I am visiting our aptment next week with my eldest son, and eldest grandson.... as an alternative there is the Calis water park I have heard about.
Is it far from the water taxi stop / start ? can we walk it from there ? is it cheaper than 25 ytl ? and is it any better value ?
would like some answers please

Re: Calis Aqua Park
It's about 5 minutes from the water taxi, or the Fethiye-Sahilden-Calis dolmus or the new council busses go past it.
It's 25 YTL, but the food and drink is very expensive, I'm told. Someone said that they seize anything taken in, there even being an attempt to grab the diabetic stuff of their friend's child.
They also prefered the Ovacik park.
Hope this helps!

I don't know what it is about these places but I have heard of it happening elsewhere aswell. Personally I do not like them as some of the slides etc are dangerous and you see children slipping on the wet floors. But I suppose you pays your money and takes your chances.

Re: Calis Aqua Park
We went to Calis beach water park last week and the took all food and drink from us and when I say drink I mean water. The park opened at 10 am and we arrived at 10:15 am and they would not open the slides until the coaches had come which was about 11am.It cost us 2 adults and 2 kids 80 tlr
The Ovacik water park is behind the Grand Ucel hotel it cost us 60trl to enter and that was it no strip search for food or drink before you could enter. The slides are new and more varied.
