scooters

as we will be moving to akbuk shortly we are thinking of buying a scooter just to get around the town, doin the shopping etc. so i wondered if anyone knows if there is somewhere in altinkum that sells scooters. i am sure i have seen a shop somewhere but cant for the life of me remember where it is.

is there any pitfalls to look out for or anything specific i need to ask.

thanks alot

Re: scooters

Hi, i live in Akbuk love it here, there are a couple of places to buy a brand new scooter if thats what your after but when you get here you may find that you only want a second hand one to run about on. There are plenty of options, PM me when you get here if you need a hand..
If you wants something a bit nippy get a Yamaha or if you want something that couldnt pull the skin of a cold rice pudding go for anything Chinese!!

Re: scooters

Scooters are not taken care of here by 99% of the people that have them. Get a new one and to save yourself headaches get a Yamaha or Honda, the rest are not reliable bikes.

Re: scooters

If you buy Chinese you are buying trouble, best buy Yamaha or Honda Yamha are cheaper. Here is a picture of my Yammy I bought last September

Cost £1200 on road taxed insured and ready to go.
