Electric scooter

Does anybody know where you can buy an electric scooter in the Bodrum area? Also, has anybody any idea of the cost of a brand new one?

We want to start a Konacik chaper of the Hells Angels LOL?

Re: Electric scooter

Last question I promise. Is there anywhere in the Bodrum area where we could hire an electric scooter - need to check we can get up our hill on one?

Re: Electric scooter

Make sure you buy a 48 volt scooter nothing less,
I would think most of the scooter hire places will be hiring the electric ones out due to the changes on what petrol ones you are allowed to ride.

Re: Electric scooter

We have an electric scooter which is a kymco velostar pa-041 model. It will do 40km Hour when fully charged but this does drop a little when nearing empty, and up to 80km on one charge.

Regarding hills it would depend how steep the hills round your way are, we are near dalyan and it is great round here as it is very flat, but I seem to remember that when we bought it we were told it would struggle in anything over a 1 in 20 gradient but I am not sure on this.

I think the spec of this bike is 250w 48v 20ah.

Anywhere in your area that is a kymco stockist should be able to supply one.

If you go down what was the cobbled road, from the dual carriageway in Bodrum[the one to the dolmus station],go half way down & on the left hand side is a new business hiring out m/bikes/scooters & electric bikes.
If you are serious about hiring one,let me know the dates you want to hire & i'll call in and get you a quote.

Re: Electric scooter

The electric bikes [not the scooters] I'm told you don't even need any kind of license, we`re looking at them in kipa last week. But I'm not sure with all the steep hills around whether they are any good. Maybe someone has one and can tell us
