Re: visit..
Hi Blue.
You Can get white, they now also have silver units, also flat ones that look a bit like a flat screen t.v and bigger free standing units. Vesstel is the better make but you can get cheaper brands. Try the electrical shop opposite the PTT {post office} in Dalaman
will fit and deliver the same day.

Re: visit..
Hi Matty
Superb!! Just incase do you know a shop name that sells free standing ones?
We really wanted free standing ones and everyone we asked said no, back in August. We felt a larger one in our kitchen would be better.
(I like to cook when out there but that does add to the heat in the kitchen. For now we decided to wait and see how we got used to the size we had already had installed, but since this is being discussed would love to know.)
cheers
Debbie

Re: visit..
Hi Debbie.
I don't know the name of the shop, but it is opposite the PTT [post office] They sell all electrical items , also outside they have bikes. You can't miss it!! But you will have to order the free standing units, I think they came from Istanbul, but only waited a couple of days. They are more expensive than the wll mounted ones.
Good luck Ann

Re: visit..
hi Ann
Many thanks
Also just to add weight to Garyad 's comment the Beko shop were fantastic for pretty much all of our electrical stuff and they organised our "gaz tewpew" (gas cylindar) too very helpful.

Re: visit..
Hi Debbie and Matty,
I thought the Beko shop service was second to none, we just went in, chose what we wanted and an hour later a fleet of vans loaded with the items and various workmen arrived at the apartment and it was all systems go.
We have also used the shop which Matty mentions for other smaller appliances and they too were great

Re: visit..
Hi,
There is no map that has road names that I'm aware of. The roads in the town centre have names like 2 street. We have a road name -Caglayan Sokak, as we're near town, but of course no house number-nor will we ever get one.
We're going to have to give our house a name and a name plate and also a little sign on the street as it's down a turning.
