January trip

Hi,

Anyone else out in Dalaman 15th to 20th January and would like to meet up for a chat, çay, Efes or whatever?

We're popping out for a few days to check that the roof's still on and waterproof.

Assuming, that is, that Romanian fog and snow:

a) let us drive to the airport
b) let the plane take off
c) let it land at Bucharest for the Istanbul transfer

None of which, going by last year's experiences, are certain!

Hello Jim and Marjo

We wish we were going out-I have to go to Kyrenia on the 17th, I would rather be going to Dalaman. We're going out in mid-March to plant up the garden before it gets too hot
Have an Efes or two for us.

Have a great time away from the fog and snow.

Re: January trip

Thanks Ann and Jim,

Good luck with the gardening, we've also got a lot to do in that field, trying to tame our wilderness in the hills. Already made a bit of a start, putting in some lavender seeds and a few succulents, so we'll see how these go and take it from there.

It looks as though we'll be moving in permanently at the beginning of May, so I trust we'll meet up then and also get to know a few other members of the forum.

And the weather gets worse ............... more snow and -9 deg C forecast for tonight.

Hello Spike
We are still here..have booked a flight home end of March for a couple of weeks. Weather still relatively good here, sunny days bit chilly in the evening, occasional rain and howling winds..give us a bell when you come out.
