Does anyone know any of the following answers;

A good marble polisher company or individual in Dalaman that would polish out scratches and rebuff the original shine?
This apparently needs someone skilled. I had thought to buy a hand polisher in UK and take over, but not only is the gadget about £200 but each diamond grade pad is £50 and I would need to graduate from rough to smooth for a correct result, therefore requiring several of these. Also with a hand machine it would be very easy to cause uneven surface as my tension would not be skilled enough!

Can you purchase Lithofin in Dalaman?
(after a huge amount of investigation this appears to be THE product to treat water marks or stains which can occur very easily, even with a puddle of water left on the worktop)

Would it be safe to carry Lithofin product in my suitcase - its a hard case- ?

If anyone knows even one of these answers I would be so happy

Can't help with a company, but we had some scratches on our marble work top and the workmen used a large handheld circlar disc electric sander. They used wet and dry discs and buffed it off using the same machine. Its looks good.
I bought a marble cleaner/polish from Koc Tas called Mellerud. The instructions are in Turkish and the company website is in German. So any assistance in using this product from anyone would be appreciated. Juls

You could try www.dalyanmermer.com for marble they are a very good company run by a team of brothers. To give you some idea of how good they are they did the marbling and tiling at pegasus palace in Sarigerme and the Dalyan Resort here in Dalyan. But they do undertake smaller jobs as well as we employed them to lay 1 single peice of marble.

They speak a little English probably enough for this job.

We used TURKMERSAN who have now opened a shop on the road to Ortaca. They are situated on the right hand side of the road on your way to Ortaca from Dalaman, just before the traffic lights at the turn to Ortaca. They supplied and fitted the marble for around our pool and terrace last year, we were very pleased with their work.
