I know there was a get together at Yosun back in April for the Curbanoglu crowd (although I think outsiders were welcome too!) and it seemed as if everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Just wonderin' if it's time to organise another one as we appear to be growing in numbers? I don't mind organising it if there is enough interest out there and we can arrange a date that suits most people.

So, over to you, Dalamaners! Come on now, don't be shy, you know you love a party!

I'm more inclined towards the end of the season, maybe early September, flights are cheaper and it gives a chance for those who have already made plans for their main holiday to pop out for a quickie.

It will always be difficult to find a date that catches all the part time residents but September sounds good for starters as we (I?!) need time to get it organised.

Any preference for venue? Yosun was the last venue but there are lots of other choices.

Hopefully we'll be able to attend but have to go back to UK Sept 12-26th for a wedding. Toprakana is a nice venue and not far from Dalaman and they also provide transport. We went to the Botanic Garden just outside Dalaman on a Friday when they have traditional Turkish music and there was a great atmosphere but it is very busy and you need to book.
We had a nice time last time and hope that these get-togethers become a regular thing.
