Hi,

Has anyone got any idea how long it would take to drive from Dalaman to Kusadasi? Trying to find a decent priced flight around 14th Sept and all the bargains seem to be going to Dalaman,

Its around 250km in distance. The Turkish Road Association has route planning and maps you might find useful. Personally I think its going to be at least 4 hours.

If you're looking for flights via the internet - forget it, they are to pricey Try ringing round travel agents, see plane spotting for more details. On the web I was being quoted average around £200 and I rang around travel agents and got it for £129 flying 24th sept.

I think it is about 260km and a good 4-5 hours
you would also need to take in to account fuel
costs which was 2.7 tl per ltr 2 weeks ago, may
well have gone up since then with the usa prob

Its a crap drive as well. The Dalaman to Marmaris route is notorious for speed checks.

Its not so bad past there. The route I would take from Marmaris would be on to Mugla, then Yatagan then Aydin and pick up the motorway link for Kusadasi.

Horrible journey. Plus you would have all that to look forward to on the return leg.

Forgot petrol was so expensive, 2.7tl per litre makes the saving on flight fares hardly worthwhile,

I will have square eyes if I search for a flight much longer, will try as jeane said and ring a few travel agents and see what they can come up with

First Choice have a flight from Gatwick to Bodrum on 17th for 7 nights at £161

Havent been able to find anything else yet.
