Hi

I'm heading out to Bodrum sometime in the next few weeks, I think I'll be going via dalaman.

Can anyone recommend a hotel, close to the airport, saying for 1 night, hopefully on route to bodrum.

there is a hotel just outside of the airport, you could nearly walk there, it is the Blue something, will try to think what it is unless another member can help.

The Hotel on the access road into Dalaman Airport is the Dalaman Park, they have buildings on both side of the road, we stayed there a year ago whilst the hotel was undergoing re-furbishment, found it to be a good price, large clean en-suite room with TV and a large swimmingpool. Excellent breakfast was provided and its only 2 mins to the airport - would recommend it

Hi-we stayed in the Dalaman Park Hotel last summer. It's not cheap as Turkish hotels go (£45 per room per night) but it was comfortable and very handy. We didn't eat there but went into town which is very good value and two mins walk. It's the only decent hotel in Dalaman-some of them are really the pits. The alternative would be to go to Sarigerme or Dalyan.

hi Ragbob,
i drove from Bodrum to Dalaman and back last week. Its an easy run, from Dalaman head towards Mugla and then Milas, then Bodrum. The first bit is very straight, you then wind your way up the mountains towards Mugla. The views back over the bay of Gocova are spectactular! Will take you about 2 3/4 hours
