We have just returned with Xcel and the plane was a large Airbus about 280 of us and it was packed!
If there is that much demand this fare seems unbelievable!
A friend of ours came out the next day on Monarch and his was full to bursting on a big Airbus too!
No rhyme or reason !

They flew out with Xl from Cardiff and the plane was only half full. The return flight was a different story as there was thick fog in Wales and twenty flights had to be diverted to other airports.In Dalaman they were transferred to a Thompsons returning flight that had only 3 passengers on it. Ended up getting home 12 hrs late after being coached from Gatwick to Cardiff.

Terry&Sue Senior Member	Re: Gatwick to Dalaman £49 incl taxes A Thomsons flight back to Manchester from Dalaman left the same time as us on Xcel and they were queued out the departure lounge and down the road. The day flights seem to be packed! These are only Manchester and Gatwick flights though!

We had a five hour delay going out which meant we got into Dalaman at 7.00 in the morning. "Fair enough", I think, these things happen. Coming home last night, same thing, five hour delay. This meant getting in from the airport, showering and straight to work. I appreciate you probrably get what you pay for, but is this common with Excel in particular, or did I get ulucky?

terryfran Senior Member	Re: Gatwick to Dalaman £49 incl taxes Have flown with Excel a number of times and 'touch wood' never had a problem. Using them again in October as I managed to get some cheap flights. You have to check their website on a regular basis for the deals.

v6cod Dartford/Okcular	Re: Gatwick to Dalaman £49 incl taxes Never had a problem with excel. Agree with terryfan and check on a regula basis and don't forget to enter the promotion code of calbhturk or divers to get an extra discount.

We have just got back from Dalaman with Xcel and have used them many times.
We arrived at Dalaman dead on time and on the return trip we left Dalaman EARLY as the pilot said the head winds were strong and he wanted us to be on time!. We arrived 5 minutes early.
We love Xcel and have never had problems but this is from Gatwick on their charter service.
In addition they normally charge to alter ticket details and I requested this on mine as I had inadvertantly spelt my name wrongly. Xcel amended the ticket and waived the £40 charge!
