Re: Electric

That's one of those "how long is a piece of string" questions. So many variables.

Advice for the future:
If you have guests stay at your property and you have aircon, take readings before & after their stay.

Re: Electric

Ours on average is 80-100 lira. No air con but a big TV that warms up the room and the son is on his Xbox most of the day x

Re: Electric

How much people are paying is relative to how much they are being charged per kilowatt hour. Some people are on builders rates, some are not. Some people are on 3 tier pricing, some are not.

Aircon units are all different sizes as are room sizes.

I must say if my bills were as high as you guys I would have a fit. Tight as a ducks posterior and proud of it.

Re: Electric

Coincidental to this thread my meter was just read . . . 50.20 TL. I don't know what the wife's doing with the stuff, the washing machine is rattling away as I type.

Re: Electric

Our villa has the 'hotel type key' that is attached to the keyring and once removed switches off the Air Con. So guests cannot leave it on when they leave the villa.

That said, last August our Electric Bill was 500 Lira and this year it would look to be around the same.

Our villa is a 4 bedroom one with Air Con in all areas. The air conditioning units are brand new high efficiency ones.

Hope this helps
