Ekincik Koyu

Cruising about on Google maps I came to Ekincik Koyu- what a beautiful place it appears and seems what more popular places were many years ago.
For those of you who have been there is it really as nice as it seems.

An old post of mine;

Frankly it all looked a bit grim.

There is a boat to and from Dalyan; so if your trek is too hard on the way out you can take the easy way back. The road to Ekincik is quiet from Koycegiz onwards; only a few bits of the new road have slipped. The last part of the road has good views from high up as you descend to the bay.

So, looks pretty and probably great for a sheltered mooring. Only the unfinished development spoilt it.

Re: Ekincik Koyu

continued...sorry...as ,mentioned spoiled by an unfinished hotel type project in the middle, there for the last 20 years I was told. a couple of nice restaurants and a café small shop.
Popular with Turks coming for a day out, we had 3 palamut (bonito fish) which we had caught in the morning, took them to the café they cooked served with chips and salad and 3 soft drinks and charged us 10 tl.
Nice place I will go back again, some Turks we talked to said they came by dolmus from koycekiz and took 45 mins
