Cleaner required

Can anyone in Dalyan recommend an honest and trustworthy cleaner or cleaning company as I am looking for someone to clean my 4 bedroom villa between rental guests for 2015. I know there are lots of places providing this service but I would appreciate recommendations for peace of mind. Also what does the going rate seem to be in Dalyan for a full day clean.

Thanks

Curly

Re: Cleaner required

I emailed them but their prices were very expensive. They quoted in pounds but the amount was more than I was expecting to pay in lira. I am beginning to think people do not want the work :-( but I will keep looking.

Thanks for the suggestion

Re: Cleaner required

Or put another way just short of 150TL - I am sure many Turks would consider that a pretty good wage in Turkey for a few hours work
Workers and companies who quote prices in pounds for doing work in Turkey usually ring alarm bells with me.
Often they are relying on people still having their UK head on and coming out with phrases like "What a bargain - it costs twice as much at home!"
Quite reminiscent of 10 years ago when people fresh off the aircraft were telling builders (previously known as carpet sellers) "You couldnt buy a rabbit hutch in Brighton for that" and surprisingly the prices began to spiral.

Re: Cleaner required

i agree it's a minefield to us newbies .

That's why this forum can be so helpful.

I found it quite hard to find well respected cleaners in Dalŷan that were available .

The team I have now are trustworthy ,hardworking and reliable .
I get two who turn up at 10 am on departure day and have the place immaculate by 5 pm

Re: Cleaner required

up in the village here we pay a man 60TL for a day's work (the price is set by the locals as 'the going rate' to avoid an auction for workers at harvest time), 75TL if it is heavy work like digging

Re: Cleaner required

We use a local agent and they charge us 150TL for a day. Two years ago it was 100TL.
