Re: Where can I buy Croissants in Dalyan?

We always buy our bread from the Yesil Dalyan Bakery (near Ozalp Hotel) and they have croissants there from time to time. They don't seem to be a regular line, so you can't rely on finding them on any given day. (Maybe we just get there too late to see them regularly) Also, I don't know if they're plain or filled, but we have had both chocolate and apple ones in the past.

Re: Where can I buy Croissants in Dalyan?

Someone is missing a trick here. . . . I love the almond croissants crisp and hot with my morning coffee, or a fresh buttery one at 6 in the morning after an early ferry crossing to France. . .
Considering the brilliant bakeries in Turkey and the French influence that still remains it's surprising croissants aren't more generally available, but the recipes call for a lot of butter which is quite expensive in Turkey.
On the other side of the coin a place has just opened in Bristol called Bristanbul and it's doing a roaring trade in Turkish food and bakery products.

Good food should be international!
