If your visiting a hotel pool for the day what would you expect to pay ?
So 2 adults 1 child going to use a pool, eat drink and be merry for the day on a hotel with Typical b n b basis 3 star.

Interested

Never been charged in Turgutreis. In May we used Aegean Dream, now known as Sundance, AI. 25 each. From 8.30am til midnight all food snacks & drinks included. We thought a bargain...

Irene and I use the Green Gardens ın Alanya.Sıgn the form, you get a card whıch gıves you 10% dıscount on all food and drınk.Show the card at the gate and securıty lets you ın the Hotel complex. There ıs no charge for amenities only the food and drınk and there's 10% off of that.We go 3 days a week havıng lunch there and bbq nıght on wed.Total 100ytl for the 2 of us.Great deal ın my book.

Re: Hotel pool charges ?

We went to Botik hotel Turgutreis 6 of us drinks and ice creams first day then drinks and lunch the next day and only paid for what we had . We had the pool to our selves and the staff were great. We where always led to believe you could use the pools at local hotels free so long as you bought drinks and even meals. We once stopped for lunch at the Ayden hotel and they offered use pool use free

Re: Hotel pool charges ?

The majority of hotels in Dalyan do not charge for use of their pool. It is usually enough to buy a drink and/or some food and that is all to relax all day. There is one I know of that charges so I just don't go there. I am sure you will find you can have a great day at a pool so enjoy!

Well, went to Asur around 11 am and reception said we don't normally let people from outside but as you are a neighbour and having lunch no problem .

Ate my lunch ,few drinks and at 4 pm went to pay the bill at the bar .
You will have to pay at reception on exit as we don't carry cash here ,no problem .
Then at the reception there was plus the pool service fee of 100 lira .

I nearly fell there and then and as with OH and grandaughter paid it and was instantly felt ripped off .
So much that this morning I'm off there to get a grip in reception

Nothing.

It might be too late now but I would threaten with Zabita if they don't give you your money back.

Lesson learned when we first arrived here years ago was always ask prices, even if I go for a tea I ask ka para or ne kadar.

The bu99ers at one place in Marmaris advertised breakfast for 99 pence, when the bill came they charged us an extra 3 quid for two teas and said it wasn't included, the breakfasts were plus 1.50 each for tea. I told them call the police or whomever and refused to pay.

Re: Hotel pool charges ?

Sounds like you've been taken for a ride Dave. I bet the receptionist pocketed your money !!! It's a pity you didn't just walk out, but you are an honest person, I guess, like most of us, and then we get caught out !
