Switches - lights and sockets

Hello - maybe a strange one to ask but in the Uk you can get chrome switches and sockets. Does anything like this exist in turkey? If so where from?

Honestly, I would avoid any electrical components that are conductive, Turkish wiring is a nightmare, you can get any amount of decorative covers, metal ones would be a no no IMHO.

As ex electrician who has changed nearly all the fittings in my property with Gold trimmed accessories I would also confirm , STAY AWAY from all and any metallic fittings

Thanks for that.

Is there some decorative type things you could get? Any examples or any idea where to purchase?

Nowhere in particular as most of the D.I.Y /hardware shops tend to sell them, but I have only come across Gold or/and Silver trim units, the coloured part just clips onto the switch or socket and is part of the unit (not just a clip-on accessory) at the appropriate point.

Re: Switches - lights and sockets

The system in Turkey usually TT is far safer than the TNCS/PME system often used in the UK if done properly, and there lies the problem.

Yes mainly white but with gold plates on both sides which makes them look very smart.
For the sockets including USB points I got those from eBay.

Re: Switches - lights and sockets

Consider spray coat like Plasti Dip (available in Turkey). Cheap and removable if you change the décor.

Ian

ps they do a metallic finish.
