Clients no-nem ( Only)
Hello all
I do not wish to kick it all off again about Phil R, but to protect myself I have gone to a different supplier (at vast cost) and to put all the skeptics to rest please read the following. Do not ask me anything about no-nem The problems were before my time, and other matters are are not my concern although if it is a customer service issue if you contact me via email and not the forum I will endeavor to resolve your issues. I am truly genuine about this but things may take time.
.Firstly as of the last few days I began to doubt my own name. So I made contact with an ex colleague in the UK on the method and materials we are using here to install DPC's He is in fact a condensation expert (very useful) so I was put in touch with a current colleague of his who is a damp surveyor for a national company. He states the following regarding honeycomb tula / Bricks,
1/After all effervescent and damaged plaster (if any) is removed, access points are drilled at the correct distance angle and depth (which we do) (I will withhold measurements)
2/ That it must be the very first course that is treated and that the entire internal of the clay baked brick is saturated with carrying agent ( Which we do) after evaporation of said carrying agent leaving a high level of polyoxo aluminium stearate to form a water resistant barrier.
3/ That a high quality water repellent render is used the complete the task (which we do)
He feels he is qualified to answer these questions as he told me that at the later end of 2006 he spent sometime advising on the setting up of a damp proofing company in Greece

Re: Clients no-nem ( Only)
This is a positive step to sorting problems out for customers in your area, and I applaud you for that and wish you good luck in your venture.
All business have problems from time to time, it's how they are dealt with that sets them apart from the rest.

Phil,
I am of the opinion that you should not make amends for someone else but I do admire your stance.
I hope you have success, which would be a reward for your efforts.

Phil
good luck, it sounds like you have the right approach
just one mistake in the explanation - its not effervescent but efflourescence (the appearance of salts on the surface)
