Re: no-nem gone
It would be a gloatful to say 'told you so' so I won't but for those of us who got the vibes, and I'm generally correct in my assessments of people, although admittedly I at least normally meet them first ! We were proved correct.
Sympathy though to those who were taken in by him and particularly where money was lost and will not now be recovered.
Good luck to the franchisee's who if as anticipated re-group and make a go of things, may find that in the big scheme of things they have hopefully now got the opportunity to make success from a potential disaster.
As far as Turkish law and English Law goes, I do not think there is going to be a way of prosecuting anyone in the UK for what is effectively fraud and bad business practice in Turkey, hence the disappearing act, but there is one thing for certain - in the UK no-one can hide from the 'system' indefinitely.

( Phil Robinson You are a dead man walking).you are not a bad businessman, just a common thief and conman
How right you are Phil Johns - he just has to hope that the law catches up with him before other people do. Prison would be a preferable option to him.

Well no surprrise there then. I'm only sorry for those members who have been hoping that they would recoup their money.
So the article in the other forum from people in Spain wasn't far off the mark. This information should be put on other forums to warn unsuspecting people of this couple.

Re: no-nem gone
Along with the others, Phil (Johns) I wish you all the best for the future in your business.
Although I didn't get involved in his scam I did actually give his contact details to some friends of mine in Dalyan. Luckily they did not get in touch with him and didn't lose out.
Best wishes to all those who were lured in with his lies I hope you have your revenge.

Yes, Red, I didn't think she could be quite that thick not to know anything about it.
How do we get in touch with Rogue Builders?
