Opening a business in Turkey, formalities?

I'm about to open a webshop selling stuff from Turkey in Denmark.

Yesterday I gladly found out, that I have been a Turkish citizen since my birth, without knowing it. This means I can legally open a shop in Turkey, and I'm considering doing that, as my shop will run from Turkey, and I possibly can avoid paying personal taxes in Denmark, which are much higher than in Turkey.

Does anyone have any knowledge in how you set up a shop in Turkey? I'd gladly pay for the help.

Cheers

With respect, if you are selling in Denmark you donīt want a shop in Turkey, you want a web site that looks like a shop.

Selling online in Turkey as a Turkish registered business is not easy and requires a physical address with stock as this is check by the traders association.
Also will you sell ( import) products for Turkey or from Denmark on this site.

Re: Opening a business in Turkey, formalities?

Isla,

The other way around. I'm going to export products from Turkey and sell them via the internet in Denmark.

I want to register in Turkey instead of Denmark, as we will be working from Turkey, and we want to avoid the high personal tax in Denmark.

This physical adress, can it be ones home adress?

Nice Isla, thanks alot!

Yes that's the plan. Firstly I have to get clear with the Danish tax office, as in Denmark we like taxes so much, we made a system that's unclear for even the tax offices employees

But it would be nice to know how to register a company in Turkey, in case it's possible to avoid being taxated in Denmark, as I will run my company from Turkey!

You should check the customs import duties in Denmark also.

Quick question…do you need to be a Turkish citizen to open a limited company in Turkey? Ive just move from Australia and want to start a company.
